Well Jenny....you did it again. You spoke the words that gobs of authors and entrepreneurs usually don't share....and that is all about HOW HARD and disappointing our great ideas can be. But....they are still GREAT ideas....and you consistently put that out. If I had a dollar for everytime I read the last paragraph on your page 1 of Free Time to my friends and colleagues who have their own businesses....I'd be one rich lady....and so would you!! Thank you for continuing to be honest and "out there!" Bev Kaye

Thank you so much Bev!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you reading, commenting, and sharing your experiences too — especially for all the twists and turns that your career has taken too, and how you have navigated them. I love knowing that you read a snippet of Free Time to friends and colleagues!!

You're the best, and thank you for your notes that always provide a boost of motivation to keep posting, even when the vulnerability hangover is strongest. I never want to be whiny or ungrateful, but at the same time I also know how important it is to help us feel less alone in these shared less-than-shiny moments ❤️🙏

Thank you so much Daddy-O!! I love the ribbon-as-proxy for all the other details that went into making a work of book-art to the best of my ability (and the incredible teams behind it :)

I love your dad's take on your work. I would imagine it is a piece of art to you. It was a creative endeavor. Thus, it's healthy to judge it from a different lens: "it is a HUGE success by any and all measure." Yes, yes it is!

Thank you Kathy — I so appreciate the reinforcement and reminder! On most days, I totally agree. And on days where I'm imagining how to move six thousand books from the warehouse to individual people's shelves, it's still the reminder I need 😆 🙏
