💬 What Donkey Are You Carrying? 🫏
Our monthly(ish) community prompt: time to make collective lemonade! 🍋🥂🍋

In the previous post, I shared a 13th-century fable:
🫏 The Miller, His Son, and Their Donkey
Fatigued from a day of operating the machines, his forearms throbbing, the miller decided to take his son into the city to get food at the market. His wife’s family would be visiting this weekend, and they deserved a proper feast.
Building on our earlier monthly(ish) Community Doh discussion threads, I’d love to hear from you:1
What donkey(s) are you carrying?
Share even just one or two sentences:
What leftover beliefs, criticism, judgment, or shame is no longer serving you?
What have others or society said you should do that contradicts your own intuitive wisdom?
What would it look like to set the donkey down?
💬 Let us know in the comments :)2
Note: These are for paid subscribers only, so that Doh’ers can feel more secure in sharing, knowing the stories and comments aren’t publicly searchable. I would love for you to join us!

💬 Community Doh: Discussion Prompts
Every six weeks, we open up a discussion thread related to that month’s posts. These comment threads are for paid subscribers only—that means only paying doh’ers can read and reply to comments. Hopefully that gives you an extra dash of courage for sharing your story (as it does for me), knowing they aren’t Google searchable or directly out in public view.
Let’s end a high note: If you don’t already know about Mr. Donkers on IG, you must! An all-time favorite: 🥹🌈🦄
Oh this is a juicy one. First thought to come to mind: perfectionism and the constant struggle to find "the optimal way forward" — especially when caught in that tension of the business see-saw you shared a few posts back.
