Something has been nagging me after publishing One Hit! Wonder last week.

In my ongoing quest to fight the urge to appear more expert and/or enlightened than I am, I broke with an early writing coach’s feedback—and the personal essay form.

I tied the post in a pretty pink bow at the end. And that bow is now driving me crazy.
